Founded in 2010, Rockland Community Against Hunger (RCAH) brings together a network of food pantries & feeding programs, the local Food Bank and local social services agencies. Our primary goal is to provide information about food sources and food-related services, raise awareness of hunger in Rockland County, mobilize support among public and private resources, and educate the community about food and nutrition. Since 2011, RCAH has recovered and distributed over 4 million pounds of food to food pantries and feeding programs in Rockland.

Since 1989, TOUCH-Together Our Unity Can Heal, has provided compassionate services to our family, friends and neighbors living with HIV infection and other chronic illnesses. Building upon our years of experience, TOUCH has expanded our original mission of caring for people living with HIV to include people living with the serious effects of Cardiovascular Disease, Hypertension, Diabetes, Hepatitis C and other chronic illnesses.
TOUCH is able to provide a range of services focused on improving a person’s quality of life. TOUCH is one of the founding members of Rockland Community Against Hunger (RCAH) and is the lead agency for the RCAH Food Recovery Program.

Computuners is a computer care center that assists you with anything you need regarding your computer. It could be a virus, a cracked screen, hardware upgrades, you name it, and they can help you with it. They also recycle old computers for you instead of having to throw them out.
They have assisted Project Hungry with this very website and providing suggestions on how to design and develop it. Computuners has been in business for over 12 years providing excellent service throughout to non-profits, businesses, and residential clients.

Meals on Wheels is a company fighting the hardships of elderly hunger. They follow the motto, "Aging is not for the faith of heart" implying that they are aware of how hard it is for senior citizens to have meals three times a day.
They have a goal of defeating senior isolation and hunger in the 21st century. They have predicted by 2050 there will be about 112,000,000 senior citizens in America! Medicine has extended our lifespan up to 78.7 years! They have partnered with Project Hungry to help feed the people in Rockland County for that reason.

BRIDGES was founded in 1987 under the name Rockland Independent Living Center (RILC). We are a community-based, peer-driven, cross-disability, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advocacy and leadership on behalf of people with disabilities. BRIDGES is one of 41 Independent Living Centers (ILC) operating in New York State under the auspices of New York State Education Department (NYSED).
Each ILC adheres to a national philosophy of Independent Living (IL) that seeks to empower individuals with disabilities to make autonomous decisions regarding all aspects of living and advocating to ensure equal access to opportunities desired. BRiDGES is one of the founding members of Rockland Community Against Hunger (RCAH) and is a key agency in the RCAH Food Recovery Program.
